A practical joke
One year on April Fools Day about the same time of me being in the fifth grade. I came up with what I thought, was one of my best pranks yet. The night before the holiday, I began to think of how I never really participated in the big day. And decided that, I was going think of a practical joke to play on everyone for the following day. After stewing over what I should do, I finally came up with an idea I thought suited for the event. I went to our pantry and grabbed the Oreo cookies and began to remove the icing filling, after doing about enough to fill a snack bag. Knowing my father, and how he likes to pull pranks too I asked him if he would like to help me with my genius plan. He agreed, so we began gathering what we need to create my cunning plan. After doing so, and battering up about seven of the cookies with enough toothpaste a color that most matched the icing. We set the cookies on a tray and let them chill in the fridge, until the following morning. The morning of the big day before leaving my house, I grabbed the bag of faux Oreo's my father and I had worked on the night before. While at school, during lunch I decided it was time to unleash my prank and handed out my April Fools joke. One by one the faces of my victims began to change into surprise then onto disgust, as they all looked at me while I laughed. Each of the victims spit out the probably awful tasting cookies, leading the idea of uniting in an angry mob against me. But with the circumstances, and good sense of humor they decided to take it easy on me. Papa asked me after school that day how the our prank went, I told him and we had a good laugh about it.
